The first CD I ever owned (I received it as a birthday gift back in the early 90's, I didn't even own a CD player yet), was the original cast album of The Secret Garden. It is a gorgeous musical, packed with emotion and wonderful songs, great story.
I've always wanted to do the show - I think most people involved in musical theater would - and now I have been cast in a production that will bow this May for a six week run. I didn't get a principal role, or even a supporting role...I was cast in a "cameo" role, someone named William (who isn't even listed in the character breakdown). But that's okay. It's for a very good company here in town, and they always put on a good show. Rehearsals start week after next.
Today I took delivery of my new partials. Upper and lower.
I hate them already. The entire roof of my mouth is covered in metal when I wear them, and wearing the partials triggers my gag reflex (pesky). They also make me talk funny. I don't mind the bottom part too much, its really just the uppers that suck! Oh well. By the way...is this too much information?
Miles is good. Still has a lot of puppy destructive behaviors...that will go away (but probably not for years). He's adorable and cuddly.
That's the news for today. Hope you are having a wonderful week.

Miles
I still miss my beautiful dog Jesse, who passed away at age 15 in October, but my heart has healed enough in the last four months to allow me to love a new little guy....
Miles!
He's a Manchester Terrier, I brought him home from the county animal shelter. I don't know how old he is, but I think he's really young...he's very "puppy-fied". Kind of bite-y and extremely playful and sweet.
We're working on the house-training thing.
I named him Miles because he's a Manchester, and Miles seemed a fittingly British name for this sweet little guy.

Spo Shirt!!
I had a turn with the Fabulous Traveling SPO shirt, the charity fundraising shirt that is making its away around to bloggers and others who follow Spo-Reflections.
Isn't it pretty? Very festive, and I look FABulous in it.
I'm looking forward to seeing pics of the other wearers.
